Dr Wilhelm Heinrich Schuessler, a noted German biochemist and Homoeopath, discovered the Biochemic system in the year 1873. He analysed ashes of dead bodies and concluded that they contain 12 compound salts, viz.Calcium Flouride, Calcium Phosphate, Calcium Sulphate, Ferrum Phosphate, Kali Muriaticum, Kali Phosphoricum, Kali Sulphuricum (Kali salts are Potassium salts), Magnesium Phosphoricum, Natrum Muriaticum (actually common salt), Natrum Phosphoricum, Natrum Sulphuricum and Silicea.
